“Corvalol”, sublingual tablets, direct compressionAbstract
The choice of exipients for sublingual tablets “Corvalol” by the method of direct compression was based on the study of the physical properties of the tablet formulations. Three models of tablet formulations were analyzed. It is found that the optimal exipients are β-cyclodextrin, lactose monohydrate 80, potassium acesulfame, magnesium stearate. It has been demonstrated that the conclusions reached through analysis of physical parameters of the tablet formulations are confirmed by actual results of pressing.
